A NON-PROFIT SOCIAL ENTERPRISE
Ohio City Farm is operated by Re:Source Cleveland, a non-profit that serves international newcomers such as refugees as they navigate challenges on the path to reaching their dreams in Greater Cleveland. Ohio City Farm is a non-profit social enterprise, nourishing the community with local food and providing employment and training to newcomers.
Since breaking ground in 2010, at least seven countries of origin have been represented on the farm team. Many refugees working at the farm have a background working agriculture in their home countries and bring a wide range of experience to their work here in Cleveland. For our team members, the farm provides a familiar and welcoming work environment that is invaluable when acclimating to a new city and country.
